 NYSMEA Virtual Sustainable Fish Event

Presentation by Sean Barrett. Sean, a co-founder of Dock to Dish® an organization headquartered in Montauk which operates the Community Supported Fishery program of New York State. Dock to Dish also performs advocacy work for traditional artisanal fishing communities around the world while guiding and operating hyperlocal wild seafood supply chains in California, Washington DC, Vancouver, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama and the Republic of Fiji.

We are joined by one of our board members, Lisa Breslof followed by Heidi Raker with Hudson Valley Fisheries for how-to fish prepping and cooking sessions.

We are excited to have a panel discussion with Stephanie Villani, author of The Fisherman’s Wife, Ryan Nebeker, Research and Policy Analyst with FoodPrint, and Kristin Gerbino, a Fisheries Specialist with Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program.
