Field Trip: NYSMEA Whale Watch on Friday, July 7th aboard The American Princess. Join Merryl, Gotham Whale researcher, for a day of citizen science to help record the location and behaviors of humpbacks feeding. The American Princess is docked at Breezy Point, in Rockaway, across from Ft. Tilden.
Directions: Belt Parkway to Flatbush Ave South (exit 11 S). Go over the Marine Parkway Bridge and exit to the right to Breezy Point/Ft Tilden. After traffic light make the first right turn by the Park Police building into the parking lot.

The boats leaves promptly at noon and returns at 4:00. Snacks /beverages available for purchase.
Bring lunch, cameras, sun screen, and your marinated sense of adventure. The sightings so far have been great, and the Gotham Whale Humpback Catalogue has now identified 55 individuals visiting our shores.
