Sign in begins at 8:00 AM. Attendees will be inspired by dynamic speakers, including our keynote speaker, Bill Wise, the Director of New York Sea Grant and former Associate Director of SoMAS. He has also served as the Director of the SoMAS Living Marine Resources Institute. Students will also: hear stories of student-driven ocean conservation projects; develop plans for their own projects and mini-grant applications; take part in workshops and training sessions designed to ensure success in securing their mini-grant for projects to improve the marine environment.
