Come join us for the 39th annual NYSMEA conference, being held this year at beautiful Kingsborough Community College, overlooking Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn.  Our theme is Marine Explorations: From the Hudson Canyon to the Shores of New York.  We are very excited about the two keynote speakers, who have both explored the Hudson Canyon extensively.  The morning speaker, Dr. Mercer Brugler (American Museum of Natural History) will present "Dive Deep to Explore Dr. Seuss-Like Undersea Ecosystems," and after dinner, Dr. Vincent Guida (NOAA Fisheries Biologist), will present "Hudson Canyon: Terra Incognita at our Doorstep."  Morning workshops, local afternoon field trips, exhibit tables, auctions, and friendly networking will make this a rich experience for all.  High school and college students are encouraged to attend at a special discounted student rate.  CTLE credits are available through Mercy College for a small extra charge.
