Come join us for the 40th annual NYSMEA conference, being held this year at John Dewey High School in Brooklyn.

Our theme is Discover Our Sea Floor: Archeology, Biology, Reefs and Wrecks...New York's Got It All!  We are very excited about the two keynote speakers, Christopher Drew (“STEAM Isn’t Just a Buzzword: The Intersection of Arts and Technology on the Mazotos Expedition”) and Dr. Michael Rothschild (“Shipwrecks and Sea Life of the New York City area:  Exploring the Vibrant Marine Ecosystem and Centuries of Naval History in our Backyard”).

Morning workshops, local afternoon field trips, exhibit tables, auctions, and friendly networking will make this a rich experience for all.  High school and college students are encouraged to attend at a special discounted student rate.  CTLE credits are available through Mercy College for a small extra charge.

Hope to see you May 19!
